Thailand Honeymoon🇹ðŸ‡âœ¨ðŸ’›
Southeast Asia has officially captured our hearts! What a wonderful 2 weeks it’s been learning the history of Thailand, exploring islands, trying great food, thai massages, and soaking up the sun. Our first few days were spent in Bangkok where we explored the temples and met our bike crew before heading to the south.

The Grand Palace and Wat Phra Kaew or Temple of the Emerald Buddah

Wat Pho or Temple of the Reclining Buddah
First day of the bike trip we cycled around the streets of Bangkok!

Had to (luckily) forgo the overnight train due to some travellers sickness but we were able to fly down to the south of thailand and meet back up with our group in Surat Thani for day 2!

Khao Sok National Park

Boat tour on Ratchaprapha Lake and kayaking at the floating bungalows!

Accommodations & wildlife hike in Khao Sok National Park!
Day 4 of the bike trip took us from Khao Sok down to the white sand beaches of Khao Lak!

Water buffalo, water falls, and the beach at the Andaman Sea!
Day 6 back on the road with a beautiful ride to Phang-Nga!

Beautiful views en route!

Boat trip to James Bond Island & Koh Panyee, the floating village within the islands!
Day 7 & last day on 2 wheels with the most scenic bike ride down to Ao Nang in Krabi district!

What an incredible tour the bike trip was, experiencing the country side and all of its undulation at a slower pace, trying traditional foods and snacks, and immersing ourselves in Thai culture! We loved every minute of it but were sure ready to slow things down and relax for the week.

And that’s all for our Thailand adventures (for now). We will definitely be back to Asia to do some more exploring, but next up… New Zealand!
